On October 15th Samidoun (English for steadfast), a Palestinian prisoner support group and an international beacon for the Palestinian liberation struggle, was designated by the US Government as a Specially Designated National (SDN), and in an extremely escalatory act of collaboration between Canadian and American imperialism, Canada simultaneously designated Samidoun as “terrorist entity” under Canada’s Criminal Code. 

The imperialists have taken off their masks, and they have demonstrated their capabilities to repress organizations on an international level. 

Let’s not forget the designation of Samidoun as a terrorist organization in Germany around this time last year, nor forget the smear campaign waged against Samidoun by zionist white supremacists at Columbia University.

 Every act of repression against Samidoun which built up to what happened on the morning of October 15th was an action against the struggling and free people in the metropolis, in the imperialist belly of the beast. 

What happened on the morning of October 15th was not just an attack against Samidoun and the Palestinian People, but rather the imperialists have directly attacked every conscious thinker, every organizer, every organization, every oppressed nation, and have given us what is essentially an ultimatum to defend Samidoun with every fiber of our beings.

 If we do not do so, us (all progressives and revolutionaries across the United States) in the belly of the beast may be next. When we say “An attack on one, is an attack on all” we mean it literally.  The designation that Samidoun is facing is also a marker of the ongoing restructuring of US imperialism towards fascism. We know that the designation of Samidoun is only the beginning, and that sooner or later, all organizations and individuals genuinely working in service of the masses of the people will be slapped with similar designations. If Samidoun is banned, one hundred more organizations will rise and fill their place. If one comrade is struck down, one hundred more will rise to take their place. As long as our struggle is based on advancing the interests of the heroic working and oppressed masses, we will not remain defeated for long.

FREE ALL PALESTINIAN PRISONERS!

EMPTY THE ZIONIST AND AMERICAN PRISONS!
