What is the Revolutionary Student Union?
The Revolutionary Student Union (RSU) is a socialist mass organization of revolutionary students in the United States. Our core beliefs include the necessity of socialist revolution to overcome capitalism, the importance of supporting the working class movement, the need to combat racism and national oppression, support for women and LGBTQ liberation through revolution, and the importance of countering opportunism and reformism within the revolutionary movement. We also emphasize the mass line (exchanging ideas to and from the masses) as a means of maintaining direct communication with the masses and supporting militant self-defense of the working class and oppressed peoples. RSU was officially founded in September of 2023.
What does the Revolutionary Student Union Do?
RSU chapters partake in protests, marches, strike support for workers, and other forms of direct action. We also provide revolutionary education to our members, this revolutionary education centers the need for the worker-student alliance and seeks to sweep away all the lies perpetuated by the old, corrupt school system. Without study and analysis of revolutionary theory, the revolutionary movement cannot progress. Theory and practice are both crucial to organizing for revolutionary change.
Why does the US need a Revolutionary Student Union?
The US student and youth movement lacks a genuine national revolutionary organization, as existing groups often embrace opportunism, compromising revolutionary principles for short term gains. Specifically, organizations that only organize students based on student based issues alone. These organizations overlook the vital role of the working class in achieving true revolutionary change. While advocating for the emancipation of students, we emphasize the necessity of aligning the student struggle with the working class movement. Student organizations that are isolated from the working class struggle will always fail to achieve revolutionary change. We assert that RSU offers a genuine revolutionary alternative by advocating for the integration of student and worker struggles for long-lasting victories.
Who can join the Revolutionary Student Union?
RSU accepts any student/youth (13-26) that agrees with our political program and wants to join the fight! The youth must organize for working class revolution and be active participants in the revolutionary movement for us to unchain ourselves and smash this parasitic system!

If an organization wants to join RSU as a chapter this would entail the following:
1. Adhering to the RSU Political Program and Constitution.
2. Choosing two people to be representatives of your chapter in RSU national
3. Be able to hold a meeting.
